COBCO participated in GIGA Europe, a leading forum dedicated to the future of the battery industry, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, and institutional stakeholders to discuss the development of resilient and sustainable battery value chains.
As part of the conference, COBCO Chairman and CEO Jay Yang joined the panel discussion, “Morocco’s E-Mobility Ecosystem: Powering Europe’s Green Transition,” organized with the support of the Agence Marocaine de Développement des Investissements et des Exportations (AMDIE). The session highlighted Morocco’s growing role as a strategic industrial partner in supporting Europe’s energy transition.
Mr. Yang presented COBCO’s vision for advancing Morocco’s battery materials industry through its integrated project in Jorf Lasfar. He emphasized that building a globally competitive industry requires more than manufacturing capacity. It also depends on strengthening local supply chains, fostering industrial partnerships, accelerating technology transfer, and developing skilled talent to support long-term growth.
Driven by innovation and industrial expertise, COBCO will continue working with partners across the value chain to build a competitive, resilient, and sustainable ecosystem serving Europe and global markets.
